    Description

    Here for your consideration is a beautiful vintage Chinese inlaid stamp box from the 40 year collection of a retiring antique dealer.  The piece measures 5 1/8 inches long along the base by 1.75 inches wide and a height of 2.5 inches at it peak.  Cow bone inlaid Chinese etchings of various sizes on four sides.  Top lid slides to access inner compartment with measurements of 3 3/8 inches by .5 inches wide and 5/8 inches deep.  Inlaid portion of the lower compartment was designed so that once the lid reaches its full closing point it closes securely, almost like a snap closure (lid won't slid off if turned on its side).
    Very Good condition.  Minor scratches to the underside base.  Some fading of tone at its handling points.
