Vintage Retro Elizabeth Arden Vanity Case - Travel Jewelry - Advertising c1950s

Description

A rare and unusual early Elizabeth Arden travel vanity case with space for jewellery below the top layer.
Beautifully made this is bound in black leather and has a wonderful peachy pink interior.
Five of the original bottles and pots are still present including:
💝 Blue Grass Hand Lotion (Glass Bottle)
💝 Ardena Skin Tonic (Glass Bottle)
💝 Ardena All Day Foundation (Glass Pot)
💝 Ardena Cleansing Cream (Bakelite Pot)
💝 Arden Lip Colour (Bakelite Pot)
It is lovely that the pots are all still retaining their original branding and the box is even labelled for Elizabeth Arden just below the mirror.

This really harks back to the Hollywood era hay-day and would make a fabulous addition to any dressing table or shop interior!

MATERIAL: Pine construction bound in black leather with pink interior.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The leather has some slight scuffing commensurate with age - only one small area with loss of leather to back right corner and a nick to leather underneath but overall good. Handle is secure. Original key is present and still works. Replacement tassel.
Bottles are all in good condition - no chips and labels still colourful. I’ve cleaned up the rims etc but a couple still have some original contents inside which I found charming... obviously NOT for use though!
