Vintage Tradition Compact & Accessory Set. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS First Class
A beautiful vintage set by Tradition circa 1950’s. Included in the set are a powder compact, a double picture frame, and a folding comb. They are all gold tone metal with the lids done in a white and silver confetti pattern that sparkles with every movement. The compact, which measures 2 3/4” by 2 1/2”, does not have powder inside but did at one time. The sifter and puff are still in very good condition. The mirror is still bright and clear and has no cracks. It opens with a push bar and is very secure. The folding comb is 4 1/4” when closed. The comb is a tortoise shell color and is intact. The picture frame is 1 1/2” in diameter when closed and holds two small pictures. The original pictures are still in it. Just take your fingernail to lift out the gold rings to replace with your own photos. The set is in really nice condition. Some of the gold is a little discolored but the confetti portion has no cracks, and the insides of the set are very clean. I haven’t seen a pairing of a compact, comb, and picture frame before, so it would be an unusual set to add to your collection.
