Rare 20th Anniversary model. There are only around 100 of these kits worldwide! This kit was brought out in 1996 to commemorate 20 years of the Recording Custom Series which some of us better know as the 9000 series that was originally launched by Yamaha in 1976. Over the years Yamaha have brought out many kits to celebrate the anniversary of the drum factory itself such as the 40th and 50th year models but this kit celebrates the Recording Custom series itself.
For anyone who's never heard a Recording Custom, the kit combines an exquisite, powerful, distinctive crisp sound quality with a range of groundbreaking innovations.
Recording custom is one of the most consistently and meticulously built drum kits in the world, you are guaranteed a great drum sound every time.
As far as the condition of this set ,I would give it a solid 10!
