    MLABA-LABA ZULU STRATEGY WAR GAME, PATTERNED AFTER THE MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN WAR GAME, NINE-MAN MORRIS. AFRICA'S #1 GAME, COMPLETE WITH LEATHER (or faux leather-- never opened it) SCROLL PLAYING MAT AND INSTRUCTION BOOKLET.
    PURCHASED ON A BUSINESS TRIP TO S. AFRICA IN THE 1980s, AND STORED, VIRTUALLY UNTOUCHED IN OUR WAREHOUSE SINCE, IT'S STILL IN THE SAME VINTAGE EXCELLENT CONDITION AS WHEN WE BOUGHT IT.
    Mlaba-Laba is structurally the same as the Medieval European game, Nine-Man Morris. The first European missionaries introduced it to Central East Africa several centuries ago, where within the tribes, it evolved into this challenging and more complex Zulu twelve-man version. The playing pieces consist of stones of opposing colors (not included).
